What to get from Easy Reader ?

Day by the day more children become good English Readers in our Easy Reader center. They learn how to read, write, speak and English grammar with fun, simple and enjoyable ways.

Step 1

To read simple words with one CVC form; to read simple passage; to comprehend the vocabularies given; correct pronunciation; to love reading as a fun activity
To strengthen the motoric skills in writing; able to write simple sentences, passages and rhymes with the correct spelling; able to use vocabularies given in writing activity; to love writing as a fun activity
To acquire daily conversation, such as polite request, greetings and interaction for class activity and social relationship; able to make sentences orally through the vocabularies given with the correct pronunciation;
Able to understand and apply simple English grammar for: articles, noun, pronoun, preposition, conjunction, adjective; to use correct grammar in both writing and speaking;

Step 2

To read simple words with CVCC, CCVC, CCVCC form; To read simple words with 2 syllables; to read and comprehend simple passages and simple story books; to comprehend vocabularies given; to love reading more and more
Motoric skills is developed well ; Able to write simple sentences, passages, rhymes with the correct spelling ; able to use vocabularies given in writing activity;
Daily conversation; social and class interaction; able to make sentences orally through the vocabularies given with the correct grammar and pronunciation;
Able to understand and apply English grammar for: noun, pronoun, preposition, articles, verb, adjective, adverb, tenses, both in writing and speaking

Step 3

Able to differentiate short and long sounds of vowels; to read special sounds; to read words with more than two syllables; reading comprehension is developed through reading passages, rhymes and story books; to acquire more vocabularies
Able to write sentences, passages, rhymes with the correct spelling and grammar; able to use vocabularies given in writing activity; to resume the simple reading passages and articles;
Daily conversation; social and class interaction; able to communicate orally through the vocabularies given with the correct grammar and pronunciation; able to make self expression
Able to understand and apply English grammar for: noun, pronoun, preposition, conjunction, adverb, tenses, both in writing and speaking

Step 4

To acquire more vocabularies through reading; to read reading passages, story books articles from newspaper and magazine
Able to write complex sentences, passages, rhymes with the correct spelling and grammar; able to use vocabularies given in writing activity; to resume the reading passages and articles;
Able to communicate orally through the vocabularies given with the correct grammar and pronunciation; able to make self expression; able to explain something clearly
Able to understand and apply English grammar for: noun, pronoun, preposition, active-passive, direct indirect speech, adverb, tenses, both in writing and speaking

Step 5

Reading comprehension will develop tremendously through the ability to read and comprehend many kinds of reading materials;
Ability to write complex sentences, passages, rhymes with the correct spelling and grammar will develop tremendously; able to use vocabularies given in writing activity; to resume the simple books;
Able to communicate orally through the vocabularies given with the correct grammar and pronunciation; able to express themselves, explain something in detail, giving public speech
Able to understand and apply English grammar for: noun, pronoun, gerund, direct-indirect speech, complex tenses, to create complex sentences; both in writing and speaking.

Pencapaian Kompetensi Dasar EASY READER

1)   Pencapaian Kompetensi Dasar Mendengar dan Berbicara

a.   Anak didik menguasai percakapan sehari-hari yang sederhana, seperti greetings, requesting, asking, polite words, expressing her/his feeling;

b.    Anak didik menguasai dan mampu menggunakan lebih dari 100 kosakata bahasa Inggris untuk 1 (satu) semester dan 300 kosakata Bahasa Inggris untuk 2  (dua) semester ;

c.  Anak didik berani untuk berbicara bahasa Inggris, karena pengajaran dilakukan lebih dengan cara pemerolehan daripada pembelajaran;

 

2) Pencapaian Kompetensi Dasar Membaca dan Menulis Semester I (Easy Reader Buku 1)

a.        Mengenal huruf dan fonik dasar bahasa Inggris mulai a sampai z;

b.     Mampu menghubungkan bunyi huruf tersebut dengan bunyi awal kata-kata dalam bahasa Inggris (phonemic awareness);

c.    Mampu membaca dan menulis kata bahasa Inggris dengan pola KVK (cat, dog, mom, etc), VK (on, in, at, is, etc), KV (to), V (a), KKV (the) (K= Konsonan, V= Vokal);

d.   Mampu membaca dan menulis frasa dan kalimat bahasa Inggris yang sederhana dengan pola perkataan di atas;

e.      Mampu membaca paragraf bahasa Inggris sederhana yang memuat pola perkataan di atas;

 

3) Pencapaian Kompetensi Dasar Membaca dan Menulis  Semester II (Easy Reader buku 2)

a.     Mampu membaca bunyi spesial dalam bahasa Inggris misalnya “ar” dalam car, smart, star, dst; “all” dalam ball, call, small, fall, etc “ch” dalam chin, chalk, chip, dst.

b.   Mampu membaca dan menulis kata bahasa Inggris dengan pola KVKK (kick, hand, ring, fish, dst), KKVK (blow, clap, slim, dst), KKVKK (block, blunt, clash, dst);

c.   Mampu membaca kata yang terdiri dari dua suka kata, seperti dalam pola KVKKV (jelly, funny, dst), KVKV (kiky, koko, dst), KVKKKV (hungry), VKKKV (angry);

d.      Mampu membaca dan menulis frasa, kalimat dan passage bahasa Inggris yang sederhana dengan pola perkataan di atas;
